Bringing the Light of Christ to the dark world of Sexual Exploitation
Good....anyone who has been to the red light zone in TJ has seen the corner of 1st street and Caohuilla where there are always a group of very young looking girls dressed in school girl outfits...yesterday the PGR (federal attorney general office) raided that corner and rescued 14 girls including several underage..they closed the 2 hotels where the girls live/work.
Two Tijuana hotels raided for human trafficking In a surprise operation, agents from the Federal Ministerial Police surrounded and closed two hotels in the Zona Norte, they also arrested sex workers for an investigation related to human trafficking.
Based on two search warrants, a Federal Ministerial Police agent, with the support of federal police, entered the Acapulco and Irma Hotels, located on Avenida Constitucion and calle Coahuila.
After entering the buildings around 1:15PM, the buildings were closed and are under investigation due to a complaint for the crime of trafficking in people.
The women, most of them dressed as school girls and called "paraditas", were taken to the federal attorney general's installation where they will be examined to determine their age, as they believe some are minors.
Bad news...despite indisputable evidence Kenia's dad was released in Acapulco prison for raping her for 6 years and a forced abortion when she was only 14...the judge took a payoff and despite her being registered with Baja CA PGJE as a vic...we were never notified of an appearance date for court. So he gets out after less than 8 months for a crime which should have carried at least 7 years. The attorney generals office also gave our hone address and her new number Now we just wait til he shows up..sick part is if I defend her I break the law...in this case I will take the chance! Sad that corruption is greater than justice...as a friend said "the only justice will be when these people have to give an accounting to the Lord for their greed.

Hello Steven,
The judge took a payoff, seems to be a common theme with several abuse cases lately. Proverbs tells what happens to those who offer and those who accept bribes and use false scales. We, in the meantime, pray for protection over your little Kenia and your vigilence in foresight to bring her to a safe place where dad can't get to her. May the Lord open doors in loving Christian homes where Kenia can truly heal from the abuse of her past, IJN, we pray this and offer glory to God for His miraculous provision to those He calls His own. Be Blessed.

The victims learn helplessness to change their circumstances and fear retaliation if they make a report that is not believed or given concern. It is important to bring hope to the children who suffer in silence by exposing as many pervs as possible, even those who hold public office. Does BC have links to some of the reports and organizations you have mentioned in your post? I believe that public awareness and education about the true effects of these crimes is the way to stop the apathy. As Jesus said, "The harvest is ripe, but the workers are few. Pray that the Father sends more workers into the field." Every day is bringing about changes that fit into the end result of His masterpiece and encouragement that Satan will soon be conquered by the Light of the World, Love for one another.

The representative of the red "End Child Prostitution, Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT, for its acronym in English -), Norma Negrete Aguayo, reported that organized crime is involved in trafficking and child prostitution in the country.
During the presentation of the recommendations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, the Mexican state, depending on the optional protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, set out to create a united front to address this problem.
He noted that a system should be developed "comprehensive" data with a number of criminal proceedings and to combat a committee to combat the sale and prostitution
To which I added the designation of a budget for victim assistance programs and implement a code of conduct for the protection of children in tourism trips and consolidate the system in the protocol to protect victims and advocates for children who should not suffer any discrimination.
Mexico noted that even though children accounted for 16 000 child victims of these crimes in 2000, the figure "is below what happens in reality," that the government also wanted to update this data.
