Testimony of the spirit of God working in the life of one of the daughters. Marysol will be one of the first 2 daughters to graduate from our 3 month discipleship program. She knew Jesus but had fallen away due to the trials of life which in her case were many. Her mom tried to kill her when she was still only a baby in the womb, not by abortion but jumping out a car at high speed. This led to a mass of water in her head while still in the womb and caused damage to one her eyes which is droopy. She left home as an adolescent to escape a step dad intent on sexually abusing her, she brought this to her moms attention but she did not believe her. This led to her completely distancing herself from mom....she met a guy married him and hoped to live happily ever after which she did for many years until she got pregnant with triplets. Hubby did not want the financial burden of triplets as they had 2 boys already...he gave her the choice abort the triplets or he would leave..she chose life for the kids and he left...unable to support 5 kids she soon was reduced to prostitution for the survival of the family...no education, no job skills and lots of mouths. Many nights no client would hire her so she would need to go through the garbage to feed the kids. She created extravagent stories about how she worked for a rich family and the food which was leftovers from the local 7/11 were from parties. Anyway, as she has gone through the program and healing therapy she made peace with mom after more than 15 years without contact...what happened next is only Gods work we cannot do this...her mom called her last week and said the step dad who tried to abuse her was in the hospital dieing and needed Marysol to give blood..there was no one else. She adamantly refused as her heart was still bitter towards this man...the Lord worked on her and last Friday she went to the hospital intent to give blood but with no desire to even see this man...there God moved..she gave blood then tried to leave quickly but HS would not allow it...she went in the room with this man and her mom and there the miracle happened..in front of mom he grabbed her hand and apologized for what he had done..they all cried and mom looked on in disbelief...it was true years of abuse. She again tried to leave but the HS kept pushing her to pray for this man...she went back in tears flowing like niagara falls and prayed for this man who then accepted Jesus as savior. As Kenia shared this with me last night as we prepared to go pick up my mom from the airport all I could do was sit mouth open in awe of our God...
Today after 3 months of drawing close to the Lord Marysol has a successful home business where she is already earning more than 3x the minimum wage in this country..more than enough to survive without ever going to the streets, she is fully engaged in her local church and she is healed from her past...all the pain is gone and she is FREE in Christ!!!!! Hallelujah Today we will make an investment into her business which will allow her to at least triple her income making Marysol rich at least in the eyes of her kids who now have in their words "everything"
