There are times when every missionary misses the comfort of home...it happens when we hear of our friends enjoying vacations, buying new toys ie cars, homes, ect ect and is even stronger when the holidays come and we miss the culture of home and our family and friends, it comes when we read about the 1000's of lbs of food and tons of clothes graciously available to anyone with a need and yet we live in places where there is no such blessings for the people we serve. We definitely miss the US church which is so blessed they are able to hold events that the rest of the world can only dream about...but then there are those times where the Lord evens it all out and our very existance and the work we are called to do makes sense as does the sacrifice of giving our lives for others is justified. This years Christmas party for the daughters and their kids was one of those times....it all made sense. We want to thank the many saints who sowed financial seeds so that the dreams of these fellow Christians could come true even if for just 2 days..they slept by the tree, laughed as they opened presents, and cried as they shared their gratefulness for what the Lord has done for them not just during this party but in life in general....see it is easy to give thanks for the little things when you had nothing. For that I thank God...He made it all make sense for us. No words can desribe what happened so I am posting many pictures, the smiles tell the story better than I ever could so take a minute and rejoice in the works you are allowing us to do!

You made a lot of dreams come true and we want to thank you and at the same time wish all of you who pray, give and support Breaking Chains...MERRY CHRISTMAS...2012 has been quite a year. More than 100 rescues, the work has expanded into 2 new countries in Latin America and the new micro business exit strategy has begun and is providing independence for many daughters who once were enslaved but now are FREE in Christ!
God bless you all!
